4680wanne is an individual of unique taste. Take this lot for example. It has a little bit of everything. Something from every genre. A rudeboy tee, a punk label or two, a CBGBs striped shirt (uh, weird), Alkaline Trio (> AFI) and a Miles Away (this is the Australian hardcore band, correct?) shirt. This is one of the weirdest lots I’ve seen on ebay. And not like “A juggalo tee and a youth of today tee” as that would just never happen. That’s outside the scope of reality. This one is strange because it’s not super ridiculous, while still being odd. You decide.

Have Heart Package
The other night, I saw a bunch of bands at Anchors Up. During one of the sets, the guitarist’s strap broke. A bunch of dudes tried to put it back together while he played, but it was really broken.
After the song, and him playing very awkwardly, the guitarist called out for a new guitar, trying to borrow one from anyone. He finally got one, but AFTER someone brought him a chair. That got a lot of chuckles. It would have been like an unplugged set. But he didn’t stoop to the chair.
BUT
One time I saw Have Heart play at CBGBs. B-Roll had busted up his knee (or ankle) either the night before or earlier that evening. He was wobbly. At some point during their set, he got moted, and couldn’t really stand. He tried to play while sitting on the drum riser, but it wasn’t enough. Finally, he got a stool and played on that. That only lasted a few songs because I think he was embarrassed.
Best show.
April 17, 2005 @ CBGBs NYC: Bold, Mental, Have Heart, Triple Threat, Flame Still Burns
At the Anchors Up, I commented on this CBGBs show to the person standing next to me, and that person happened to be Pat Flynn. We both chuckled.
Something more thank ink.
Gorilla Biscuits – Paul Frank Gold Tooth Tee
Back in 2006, the Gorilla Biscuits reunited.
Say what you will about reunions, but I had a damn fun time.
GB had reunited a few times over the years. The GB reunion in 2005 at CBGBs certainly sparked their interest making the 2006 reunion tour a reality.
This was the big time. And because it was the big time, it also came with big time merch. Paul Frank stepped up and did a few tees (they also did some wallets and belts and more schwag. Lets forget about those for now).
This shirt seemed cooler than the other one to me (where the other one was the GB S/T EP drawing with the Julius Monkey head. That one just seemed too cartoony for me).
Bling.
