I swear between 1997 and 1997, Cast Iron Hike must have come down to play Miami every 3 months. I mean they were down all the time. The last time I remember them coming down was with Snapcase on their “Progressions…” tour in 1997. CIH had just released “Watch It Burn” so they were supporting that record which is where this tee from lalati915 comes from. I don’t remember how many designs the label printed up for them but they did at least one, being the one you see here. It’s been a long time since I’ve heard that record…might go back and give it a spin.

Not the normal fodder for this site, but how often do you see Cast Iron Hike gear up on ebay, especially a test press? I saw these dudes play once right before I left Maine for Worcester.

A semi wacky lineup, I thought, at the time. But it worked. The show was awesome, lots of good times. Kids did the mosh dancing. Jeff Terranova of Up Front was in the house.
