Some more tales from billboardprints stack of shirt auctions for this Saturday afternoon. And in the case of the H2O tee (which yes, does not really fit in with Quicksand and BURN, but there was no other post-core tee to tie in with them), he actually does literally tell a little story about an embarrassing moment at an H2O show in the item description…

Purple BURN.

I’m not sure if I’ve said so before, but both DFJ and myself owned this purple BURN tee being sold by billboardprints way way back when we were both in high school. Pretty sure we both found them in the under 10 buck bin at Newbury Comics, and pretty sure they fit both of us like tents. I did the right thing and gave mine away to a younger (and even smaller) kid who was into hardcore in like 1998 (my reward for this was said kid dropping out by 2001); DFJ might still have his in the apocalyptic wasteland of his room. I hope he finds it. I’d love to see him rocking that again. If you were at the Lawrence MA “No Moshing” Ten Yard Fight show back in 1998, you know.

I love BURN, and I love Last Great Sea and was so incredibly psyched when Revelation finally released it back in the early end of the 00s, but damn were the shirts they put out around the same time a snooze. Yeah, the blue in the band name looks really cool, but this was a total phone in job. It’s making me go back to bed…

Ebay seller nunkinnog2 has a nice Sunday special for us. Here is a sweet looking black one sided BURN shirt with pink and yellow ink. Kinda bubblegummy I think. I am going on what the seller is telling me here about it being an early tour shirt. We don’t come across many one sided BURN shirts around here, so I included a picture of the old and nice screen stars tag. Great shirt, and I expect it to go for a pretty penny.

igren has something that seems to get more and more expensive by the month. I hope its just a trend like expensive rival mob,supertouch, and free spirit merch. Seems like one of these pops up every week now too. Seller says its an L but fits like a medium. I dont know if this was tailored or not but I think it might be. Every single one of these shirts I have ever seen has been huge! I own this in a navy XL and its a huge dress. I also own it in a black L and it doesnt fit anywhere close to L. Don’t be surprised if that, of the two original tee’s that baosgarden has relisted after ending early last week, only the Chain of Strength tee sees any major action. I have a hard time seeing anyone killing themselves to get a Burn tee that’s only slightly different than the one Rev still sells…

Who am I kidding, this one looks way cooler than the one Rev sells. No Shall Be Judged on the bottom, all reds and yellow hues in the image, on it’s way to being concert gray… def way, way cooler looking. I bet it’s nice and soft too.

Hey, These Burn Tees Look Familiar!

I don’t know how he did it, but somehow when No Tolerance guitar player and LOC West Coast representative Casey Watson was in NY for the BNB Bowl a couple weeks ago, he got into my apartment, raided my dresser drawers, and is now selling my two Burn shirts! Dude, wtf!

I’m totally playing, of course, but it is funny that these are the exact two Burn tees I own (well, my longsleeve is blue, but same design, so close enough). Casey’s a great guy, and he has a bunch of stuff up, so be sure to check both his other auctions and this site later in the day for more from him.

Purple Burn shirt

Now this time seller newcopcar has outdone himself. Who in their right mind wouldn’t want a purple BURN shirt? Well at one point, I didn’t. The last time I posted one of these, I mentioned how I had never seen one before, and I wanted one. Murphy then chimed in and told me that not only had I owned one before, but I had traded it to him. Consider my old mind blown! How could anyone possibly forget that they owned one if these before. I still can’t get my head around it. He did trade it back to me this year at least, so the story ends well, at least for me and whoever wins this one. Great shirt!
