Fire & Ice Burn

Our friend Sam at Triple B Records printed up this Fire & Ice “Burn” rip for the release of their 7 inch “Grim”. Apparently, he’s no longer selling it in his webstore so reachseed7 has stepped up to fill that gap. I really like the fact that he went with the color scheme for the 7 inch as opposed to doing a direct rip of the Burn tee. Into it.

garygunwald on the other hand has different variation on the design. The first design has no mention of the band’s name, just the title of the 7 inch on both sides. This one was bought at a Sound and Fury 2010 and features the big Fire & Ice logo on the front while the band remains unchanged.

So I’d like you to meet fredrulesok93. He’s become one of my favorite sellers and you’re going to see why over the next few days as he somewhat covers the entire spectrum of hardcore subgenres. How about this Burn longsleeve? Sure this is probably the most common Burn shirt we see here but who’s going to complain when we see a Burn shirt? Not me, that’s for damn sure. After a second look, I’d never noticed the sleeve print before…very cool.

I love that when Bracewar decided to rip off this Burn shirt, they kept it on an odd colored shirt. Not a color I would normally wear but I would most certainly throw this on.

Ah yes, the Burn shirt that no one really knows or understands whats on the back. The tribal swirl with branch legs is what comes to mind for me. Seller crucialtimes86 has been pumping out a bunch of awesome auctions in the past few weeks and regardless of the weird back this Burn shirt looks cool from the front so TA DA!

A great thing about hardcore is that you meet awesome people from across the globe and a lot of them end up being great friends. I met a boy Mike from Australia a few years ago and he’s become a good buddy of mine and he comes to the US once and a while. He asked me recently to keep an eye out for Burn shirts so this one is dedicated to him and hopefully he sees this! Seller nuee.ardente got this from Rev in the 90s.
Mike is also sending me crispy M&Ms because they don’t have them here anymore, I don’t know why they would take such a great candy away from us. I love Burn and crispy M&Ms.

Have I mentioned lately that I love BURN? Probably not unless you’ve been within earshot, since I haven’t been posting. But a magnificent thing happened last week: possibly the greatest live footage of BURN that has ever graced the internet made it’s way to youtube. And to go with it, seller jnientertainment just put up this BURN longsleeve.

Burn Battery Acid long sleeve

I love how feast_of_siaynoq says there are holes in this “from a battery acid incident in the late 90′s”. What exactly entails an incident? I’m tempted to send a message, just to be an asshole. Great design. It does look wearable, especially if you are one to wear another shirt under your long sleeve. I used to have one of these that I stole from a girlfriend who stole it from a boyfriend. No idea what ever became of it. Karma is a bitch.

I was looking at this thrashed purple Burn shirt for sale by donjuanepstein and I was thinking to myself that I was going to bid on it despite the condition. I’m into weird colorways of classic shirts. It was then I remembered that yes, I already own this one. It was sitting right in front of me as I was looking at the auction. I once traded this very shirt to Murphy and had no recollection of it. I think I’m losing it. Anyway back to the auction. I wonder who owned this storage locker that donjuanepstein has been cleaning out. I would have to imagine it’s almost out of cool shirts.

GAHHHHH donjuanepstein was given a box of old tees from a friend who owed him money. The guy was cleaning out his storage unit and just gave him the tees to sell. And it’s a damn MOTHERLODE of awesome tees and eBay gold. Especially if you’re into BURN. Get ready to spend some money people…

Sadly, still no sign of the mid-90s reunion windbreakers anywhere. Maybe they’re buried somewhere else in his friend’s storage unit and will make their way up soon. Fingers crossed!

BURN Rasta Jersey.

I was literally just talking to my friend Big Jim on Tuesday about how the two BURN merch items from the late 90s reunions that hasn’t managed to pop up yet in the recent spree of BURN sell off’s we started seeing this past year (ie when BURN merch became a 200-300 dollar investment for their owner) were the windbreakers and basketball jerseys. Well our talk must have burned the ears of 80std195, who has just put up a rasta looking BURN jersey for auction! I’m legitimately drooling right now. It apparently fits like a Medium too, so hopefully that keeps some people away. And of course this popping up so soon after our convo begs the question: can a BURN windbreaker be far behind?

(Sadly, the only downside to this is that the seller’s two most recent feedbacks are big time negatives. And they weren’t his first… still, a BURN jersey might be worth the risk, if you’re careful)
