The World Is A Vampire

When collecting 90′s rock-based tees, the standard of excellence comes in two tags: Brockum and Giant. You see those tags and you know you’re in for something good i.e., Specs in the mall. malayavintagejunkie knows this too and gives us a nice shot of that Giant tag for this Smashing Pumpkins tee. Sure its been worn but it makes the design kinda look like it’s supposed to be that way. I approve…yet another band I was not into while in my youth but got into as I got older.

BadMotorFinger

Alright don’t sweat it amy9663, I don’t need that much info for this Soundgarden shirt. Apparently its a used concert shirt. Thanks for the heads up. Also, don’t bother turning those photos so that they’re facing the right way…I’ll take care of it for you, not like I had anything better to do. Other than that, you’re off to a great start with your auction. The one positive you have going for you is that you can see that beautiful Brockum tag in the first photo.

Do You Have The Time To Listen To Me Whine?

doublesixvintage has an original 1994 Green Day “Basket Case” tee, printed with that beautiful Brockum tag that reminds me of my early teenage years and hitting the Specs in the mall to look for t-shirts. Green Day was a big deal for me. I’d heard the Misfits but I didn’t know they were punk at the time (1993-ish) so hearing Green Day really opened the door for me to start searching out different bands. Brockum was the like the official tag for big bands to be printed on. If you opened up any music magazine at the time you’d find ads for Rockabilia. The majority of those shirts were printed on Brockum and it was the sign of t-shirt goodness. The plus side of this auction is that, while the seller is a vintage seller, the opening bid is not too band unlike most vintage sellers. Go ahead and put Dookie on…it’s still good.

Testament – Environmental Holocaust

Respect Mother Earth! Testament called it. The Greenhouse Effect is not a myth. It exists. Hell, even back in the late 80s, early 90s, these dudes were preaching the message. Go ahead and grab this shirt from oftimespast and let the man know how you feel. It’s hard to tell from the pic, but I’d bet anything that you are looking at a Brockum tag on this shirt. This tour came through Boston. Did they play the Garden?? Or was it a smaller gig? Channel perhaps.

PS. Why would you even bother uploading this to youtube?

Yeesh.
