Fred Souls or Bouncing Perry?

I’m not sure if Mr Fred Perry would approve of this shirt, but that didn’t stop xrebelheartsx from snagging one when he saw it. It wouldn’t stop me either. I’m a big fan of the Fred Perry look and logo. Granted, I’m no skin, and I pretty much think unions are an outdated concept. But I can hang with this look. I recall my brother picking up The Good, The Bad and The Argyle back when it dropped. I was into it. I’m not going to lie. I was a fan.

How much cooler would this tee be if it was WHITE ink on a black tee? Also, is this the back of the shirt or the front? Very hard to tell from this pic.

Work Shirts. Where are the blue collar heads at?

Why was the mid 90s all about work shirts?

It’s not like hardcore fans during that time were all working class. As far as I recall, most were white suburban college kids. I mean, obviously, a lot of hardcore dudes didn’t fall into that category, but seriously, I don’t see a lot of blue collar dock workers rocking out to Ebullition style hardcore. Flagman, Four Walls Falling, Resurrection. I just don’t see it.

But a lot of bands seemed to create work shirts. I suppose for these two bands, it makes more sense. If ever there was a blue collar hardcore band, H2O was it. They kept it real on the streets of the LESC.

Bouncing Souls too. I can see it. I can picture a garage full of lifted cars while dudes are rocking out to the Bouncing Souls. I can see it.

Bouncing Souls – Pizza Box Tee

For the last Gorilla Biscuits show, GB dropped a tshirt that featured a pizza box logo. You’ve probably heard people call it the pizza design or “the shirt no one wants.”

That tshirt never really seemed to catch on. It was never a big hit. I mean, it seems to only be available in size XXL and on top of that, it always seems weirdly stretched out.

I can’t recall the last time I saw a good condition one on ebay.

No where near as cool as any of the tour tees or the demo tee.

18 years later, along comes the Bouncing Souls. And they do essentially the SAME thing. Again, not really a good look.

Weirdos. Can someone just bring back the crucial 4 sided shirt? Someone call Pat Dubar out of tshirt design retirement.
