Well here is a Dodgers inspired Twitching Tongues baseball jersey being sold by xwarofwordsx. This is from Sound and Fury last year and I’m sure this was a hot item at the fest! I don’t know if I’ve seen many baseball jerseys for band merch so this is pretty interesting. I don’t know if I would ever wear something like this, but I’m sure there are a bunch of people who would love it. Wear this to a Dodgers game!

Ugh. This is the worst part of the year as far as sports go. Football is a fading memory. Basketball is in this weird, condensed season that feels super ridiculous. And hockey? Hockey fucking sucks. Baseball is where it’s at. Pitchers and catchers report this Sunday. Thank fucking god. But if you are one of those weird dudes who love hockey and basketball, marcxpepe has the auction for you. Couple of things. One, janvanderdam is one of my favorite eBay sellers of all time. Always bringing the awesome tees, and always easy to deal with. Two, I have not made it out to any of my friend Rick’s baseball games on LI nearly enough this season. Scheduling hasn’t worked out more than once yet. But it will. And maybe when it does, someone there will be rocking this LOA jersey from JVD…

I must have subconsciously decided that I wanted to torture myself today, because I managed to save all of the ugliest gear from janvanderdam’s otherwise excellent auctions all for one day…

These are nowhere near as bad as the pastel patterns of puke (that makes no sense, I just wanted to use alliteration) I showed earlier, but they’re nothing I’d want on my torso either. The maroon shirt is just plain boring (and maroon), and the baseball jersey is a baseball jersey. They never look good off the field.

edit: well, they must not have been ugly to someone, since between the time this was scheduled last night and posted this afternoon, the BIN’s have been snatched up. Whammy!

Sports History with SOIA & Cold As Life …

Well, sport season officially sucks now. Since the Patriots are out for the season, there is really no reason to watch Football. I’m pretty sure no one cares about the Jets and that old fart who is their QB. And the Colts? Fuck the Colts. And the Saints. Do they have ANY fans??

So now that Football season is over, we’re left with basketball (C’mon Celtics, pick it up) and hockey. Ugh, fuck hockey. I’d rather watch 3 hours of Peyton Manning commercials, “still the best arm in the neighborhood …”

Sick Of It All hockey jersey? Might be worth picking up to wear to your local rink or pond. Good look for behind my house. That’s for sure.

Fear not, as spring is coming. I think we are less than a month away from pitchers showing up to Spring Training. Now that is cool. Here’s a good shirt for your local soft ball league game. Coming at you hard style.
