NatexValue’s Yard Sale.

Our pal Nate from Cruel Hand is engaging in that annual end of summer ceremony known as the yard sale. Of course, it’s 2011, so he’s doing so on eBay, but same difference. He’s got a couple windbreakers…

…and plenty of tees; some in lots…

…and some not.

(Altered!?! WAH!)

And with a the fall and winter right around the corner, he’s even got you and your neck covered with a scarf!

Plenty of stuff up in the other auctions as well, so be sure to take a look!

Bane world tour

elite5n4k3 is posting upp another variation of the Bane shirt I drew for their tour last year. The colors on this one are slightly darker. I personally prefer the lighter one. My ultimate would have been the lighter shirt with the darker ink but whatevers. Im too picky. You can read about the other version here –> Lighter version

It All Comes Down to This….Mr.T

This Bane shirt is pretty old. I own one of course and so does Murphy, but that doesn’t say much. This shirt may have had cool intentions, but obviously it did not translate well in the finish product. The Japanese Kamikaze pilot looks like Mr.T. It’s just so sad. sajidgy is the kind of seller I like. He decided that instead of being a hoarder he would share some of his t-shirts that he does not wear anymore. I think that is great. You might as well make someone else happy if you can’t be happy with shirts you don’t wear. Me I suck I have almost every Bane shirt (missing maybe 10). I never wear them I just list them on HYE. I probably wear the same two Bane shirts over and over. I will probably die having never enjoyed my Bane shirts, and my girlfriend will sell them all on EBAY.

The Wind Will Break Your Fall

When Bane released their last EP, the first time, in the UK (yeah, you keeping up?), Hurry Up Records dropped this hooded sweatshirt to match. You’ll notice the back image is the same as the cover of the ltd Dublin EP. The sleeve also features the words “Hurry Up Records.” I got one of these too (of course), and I’m not sure I’ve ever wore mine either. I love the front. Love, love, love the front. But the back image is HUGE. This would be Cushman’s definition of a billboard. Either way, shortysgotpop16 has it for a real decent opening bid. I’m guessing you could get it cheap. And if you want to pick up some of those EPs or the matching tshirt, head over to Hurry Up Records to get that gear.

Bane World Tour

I know this is more Murphys department but I had to chime in and post this one up because I drew it :)
Bedard gave me like a few days deadline and told me he wanted it to say Globetrottin on the back for their 2010 world tour. Those dudes played every where it seems on that tour. This shirt was a pretty good seller for them and they had to get it printed a couple times on that tour. If I remember correctly the first leg was Indonesia and I heard it was pretty crazy. Huge gigs with dudes going off. They sold a ton of merch and had to get new merch printed on the next leg of the tour in Korea. The 2nd printing of the shirts came out a little different. Screens were cut different and the shirt/ink colors were a little different. Luckily for me Bedard managed to save me a couple of each. Bonus info for you – the original drawings said tour under the globe on the front print but they cut it when it was getting printed.
As with every single other thing I have drawn. I liked it then, I hate it now :)

Name Drops And Mr Sparkle

The other day while hanging out with Joey from 6131 Records*, he asked me if I owned every Bane shirt. I do not, but I think, besides Dalbec**, I probably have the best collection. For those interested, I know I’m missing the Bane Lolita girls tee and the latest “Holding This Moment” sweatshirt they had on their last EU tour. Hook it up, ok? Anyway, Joey asked me what my favorite and least favorite tee was. You’ll have to ask him for my answers, but he quickly called out the Mr. Sparkle tee as his least favorite. What a weirdo! He’s probably a Futurama fan or something wacky. Either way, grab this one from Marlon (who I hope found some advil at SAF which I sadly couldn’t provide him with while I sat with Scott Arnold*** of @fwppodcast). Anything else would be disrespectful to dirt.

* name drop #1
** name drop #2
*** name drop #3 and #4

Gangsters, Cowboys & Samurai…..BANE

squareandcompass is selling this rare Bane shirt from circa 99/00. This is one my favorite older Bane shirts, and the only reason I’m putting this up is because Murphy and I already own this. Now just so you know I don’t agree with the starting bid or the BIN. But I do understand that sometimes these things get out of hand.

Bane from 96 – 97

I think time has got the better of erikaratekid’s memory. She states that this tshirt is from “around 96,” but she is off by a year or two. Check her timeline, “The back story on this Bane shirt… my memory recalls that I was at a show at St. John’s Gym and Pete gave this shirt to me as a thank you for giving the band a bunch of photos I had taken so they could use them for the Holding This Moment 7″. I believe this is the first Bane shirt that I owned.” Thing is, the Holding This Moment EP didn’t come out until fall of 98. I know back then bands took a little longer pulling together albums, but certainly this album didn’t take two years. Likely, this shirt is from 97 or 98. And I suspect Erika actually owned a Bane SPAM shirt before she owned this one. Either way, this shirt is nearly 15 years old. I love that it’s size GIANT too. Remember when EVERYONE, even GIRLS wore size GIANT? Tre would probably have tucked this shirt in.

USA – Give More, Give Everything, Give Blood

Today is the 4th of July. This you know. If you are an American, you probably have the day off. You’re probably shooting off fireworks (which scares the shit out of my dog. He’s hiding in the basement currently), eating hotdogs and enjoying a day off. Try not to forget what this day is all about. Many people claim to be patriots and the like, but it usually just comes down to talk. But here’s something you can do that’s truly patriotic. Go donate blood. Find a local blood bank, and donate blood. And don’t cop out on that “I just got a tattoo” excuse. In 18 states, you have to wait 12 months (sort of bullshit, really) but if you live in one of the other 32 states, you are eligible to donate blood immediately. Peep the criteria. So go get it done. You can wait until tomorrow, I’m cool with that.

Bane 1999 – Can You Do Any Less?

Here’s a great time capsule from 1999. Three great Bane tshirts. I am a fan, and you know this. Time to geek out.

Bane Canadian tour 1999. This one was hard to pick up. I didn’t tour Canada and it was a pretty big tour as I recall. Comeback Kid or maybe Good Clean Fun? This was also one of the only white shirts Bane ever did. In the last few years, they’ve done a few white tees.

Bane Fall tour 1999. Note the last day of this tour. One of the best gigs Earth ever witnessed.

Bane Mr Sparkle, Can You Do Any Less? This was a hot ticket for years. Kids loved this one. These were mostly sold on the Adamantium / Death By Stereo tour. Solid. There is a yellow one out there. I’ve been working on the owner for years, of course.

Funny thing about xcoldxdeadxhandsx. Back when you could see the names of the other bidders or just the high bidders, I remember seeing this dude outbid me ALL the time on Bane gear. So many bidding wars with this dude.
