Some late night longsleeves from randomhero123 for you to lurk while you try to fall asleep… yes, I know technically it’s approaching dawn on the East Coast, but as far as I’m concerned it ain’t morning til I’m waking up… plus a couple of these make for a nice Metal Monday kick off…

The Young. The Restless
How long did it take for you to recognize that all the songs on the newer Bane EPs were names of soap operas? It honestly took me a month or two. I was either dense or just not paying attention. One thing I did notice was how fucking dope this longsleeve is. 3 sided. NO back print. I fully support that. Great colors, good look. They might have a few of these on tour with them now so have a look when you see them.
Weekend Giveaway: Bane
It’s the weekend. It’s supposed to snow & rain. I’m sure this is going to ruin someones party night. No one wants to go out dressed as a slutty phlebotomist during weather like this (look it up if you don’t know it. It’s appropriate). Sucky times. So lets make the best of it. How about a giveaway? In honor of the Bane Give Blood 10th Anniversary repress (order it now), I’m putting together some items I’ve socked away for an occasion like this. Here’s the deal. It’s easy. Just tweet about your favorite @BaneCentral song. Like this:
My favorite @BaneCentral Give Blood song is _____________ http://bit.ly/vBmqHK @teetilldeath
That’s it. I’ll randomly pick a winner. And here’s the prize:

Bane tee, Curitiba CD and Bane tote bag. I’ll probably jam some other items into that tote bag too … You have until Sunday Noon EST to enter. Have fun.
Bane Lot: 2003-2005
chevy_independent has a nice little snapshot of the mid 2Ks. During this time period, Bane was a touring machine. They were everywhere. Full US tours, Europe, Japan, … all over the place. Then they hit the studio to record The Note. Busy times, for sure. 6 tshirts and 2 hoods. Not bad. Someone popped the opening bid of $50, but that F*CK YEAH hood usually sells for quite a bit on its own. I’m real curious to see where this one ends. I won’t fight you for this one – I already own one of each of those ;)
Never Stop Fighting
Bane released their first pullover back in 1998. It featured a quote from ee cummings (originally, it was “misquoted” as EE Cummings). Here’s the quote. Think on it. It’s a good one.
To be nobody but yourself in a world that’s doing its best to make you somebody else, is to fight the hardest battle you are ever going to fight. Never stop fighting.
In this day and age, it’s hard to stay true to your own self. It’s not easy. But a lot of people recently have been stepping out and doing their own thing. From the Arab Spring unrest to Occupy Wall Street to any kid at any show standing up for what is right. Do your part, speak out.
As for the hood, this was probably the third iteration of this hood. You’ll notice the slightly skinnier graphic and blockier font, as compared to the original hood. But it has a back print (which also features blockier text, definitely a different screen from the original) so it’s not the last one that was printed. That hood was one sided. This one probably comes from 99 or 2000. Crazy, right?
Grab this from xchokeholdx. Not sure if this is Hundley, but you should check out Hava Java Coffee in Woonsocket RI.
BANE ALI VS. FRAIZER
So this mark the tenth anniversary of one my favorite hardcore albums of all time. Give Blood came out on Halloween of 2001, it the wake of 9-11. I remember going to see the New York record release show with Sick of It All at the Knitting Factory. This year Triple B will release this record on vinyl for the first time in ten years. The shirt that fightback is selling is also ten years old, maybe nine ask Murphy I’m sure he knows. There were two versions of this shirt made the colors on the back were different. The funny part is the misspelling of Smokin Joe Fraziers name. I’m really psyched to see the new layout for the reissue. Check out Bane on tour this fall with Defeater.
Foundation: The Bane Completist
As you know, I’m a Bane completist. It’s what I do. Keeps me off the streets, out of gang warfare, off the crack … Sure, all of those things. So here’s the question. Does this Foundation shirt from stagedive5 count as an essential piece of Bane merch? These were printed up for the 2009 Bane/Foundation tour. I don’t recall seeing these shirts on sale at the time, or I surely would have bought one. And I saw these two play a few times on that tour. AT the ICC with Suicide File and Alpha & Omega. Then in September at Valentine’s in Albany, and of course, at the Edge Day gig. So to the other Bane completists out there, does this shirt make your list?
Bane-iac pt2
Here is a couple more I missed the first time around from diggingforfire. Have at it
Bane-ianc
diggingforfire is Murphys kinda dude. He currently has a bunch of Bane shirts from recent years. If you missed out on any from this touring machine here is your chance to pick them up
FC Five, Japanese Hardcore
FC Five are a killer band from Japan that I got into back around 2003 or 2004 after Glasseater toured Japan with them. Great melodic band who became great friends with Bane and a few other Boston bands which would explain this design that krebstar1021 is selling. Red Sox logo on a tshirt from a band from Japan? Boston worship. Incredibly nice dudes…I hope I get to see them again.
