American Nothing For The Smaller Crowd

The only time I saw the band as American Nothing was on the Plea For Peace tour. They played on this backstage outdoor area of an amphitheater…I don’t remember who else played besides them and Poison The Well. It was just weird because they’re one of those bands that was best to see on a small stage with no barrier…obviously this wasn’t the case. I think they also had the heart with wings design. Next time they came through, they were Give Up The Ghost. a_hundred_thousand has a tee which would obviously be from that time frame and on the smaller side. This was a time in the scene when bands carried more smalls and mediums than anything else so finding something in a bigger size is a little more difficult. This one happens to be a Youth Medium so to our smaller readers, this is for you.

American Nothing Screen Test Tee

pcook60526 has an interesting tshirt up. This is the ONLY American Nothing design ever screened. You know, during the post American Nightmare fiasco, but before the Give Up The Ghost name won over. This shirt was printed on black tees and later on red tees, as I recall. But this one is obviously different (anyone black/yellow color blind? Didn’t think so). This one is on a sweet yellow tee, and according to the seller, this one was a “test screen” shirt. These are usually throw away shirts to verify the printing screen came out as designed. I don’t recall ever seeing this shirt in yellow, but I do question if it’s a test shirt. Usually, and I say *usually*, test screen shirts have multiple prints. Front, back, inside, outside, … A few different screens to verify the print. But this one has just ONE screen. It’s possible someone (the drummer? Jarrod??) just showed up to the print shop with a yellow shirt and said, “print me one on this.” Still rare, but different, you know? You decide.

Bootlegged orignal

Well this isn’t and original and its not even the ones that Shogun did, its a bootlegged original. I got a kick out of that when I read it hahaha. As the guy I work with would say, “thats some bobo shit”. If you’re a fan of the design though you can probably scoop up this one that shortysgotpop16 is selling for cheap. Its a 2XL, are there American Nightmare fans that wear a 2XL?

American Nightmare in black and white

Well there was a lot of hoopla around the American Nightmare reunion shows and at the Boston one the merch line(which took up a whole room) was super crazy. And what was everyone waiting for?? They were waiting for these shirts that underdarice is selling. He has a white one from the Boston show and a black one from the LA show.
There is a $30 BIN on both of these, but you could probably get them for cheaper through bidding.

American Nightmare ending soon

I think the craziness of American Nightmare stuff has settled down again and you should be able to get stuff at a reasonable price. This older AN shirt that bobbycecere is selling is going for less than some of the reunion shirts, so I’d scoop it up.
I see that the seller lives in Lynnfield, MA. When I was little I used to get so excited when I saw signs that said Lynn and Lynnfield, but then I grew up and everyone always joked about “Lynn, Lynn the city of sin”. You can say I wasn’t excited anymore.

Posi Numbers 2005

How good is this? If I remember correctly, 2005 was the final year for Posi Numbers. The only year I played was 2000 and I had a great time. American Nightmare, No Justice, Where Fear and Weapons Meet, Right Brigade…I only stayed that one day because we were on tour but I did buy an OG Public Enemy shirt for $10 at the show…still have it too. Look at that lineup. People would kill to go to a fest like that now. 3 solid days. If you saw that front design back then, would you have assumed that GB might have been a special guest? Hey you never know…did oathrecs ever wear this? Looks great.

American Nightmare pullover

Well I’m taking a moment to pop in my time machine and go back to the early 00s and remembering how crazy AN hoodies were when they were on eBay. They went for so much money that it irked me. Then it died… people couldn’t even get rid of some shirts at one point in the late 00s. Since the reunion people seem to care again so I’m curious to see how much this hoodie that thexgroater is selling will go for. I always liked this one better than the AN zip up.

Solid Merch, Odd Opening Bids

Don’t get me wrong, I’m a fan of the merch handsteez is selling. He has some good stuff. I mean, you can’t really go too wrong with Blackilisted or American Nightmare (which shocklingly is NOT reunion related …) merch. Right? I’m right. Kids love those two bands, for good reason. But the opening bids on these four items are a little perplexing, no?

Now that the American Nightmare reunions have come and gone, Ebay is going to be flooded with people who are flipping the merch they bought which Murphy touched on the other day. Some of the sellers are seeing what others have theirs going for so why not offer up the old Buy It Now. We can bitch and complain all we want about people flipping their merch but at the end of the day, it’s going to happen. Do I agree with it? Not really but it is what it is. sidebofmywar just has this one up as a BIN. At least they aren’t offering some story of how their “friend” decided they didn’t want the shirt.

seeitkillingme13 has the first Los Angeles BIN tee up. He must have had this on his list of things to do today when he woke up seeing as how he has a BIN of $1000 and a very reasonable (not really) starting bid.

When you are the first people to flip reunion merch, you should expect a lot of shit. Yes, I’m talking to you, wotp86, codyeatruck66 and richiedge. Hardcore kids hate flippers, unless they are the flipper, of course. You can expect the next few days to be filled with some ridiculous auctions.
