Yesterday at Sound And Fury, I wore an Alert tshirt. In my mind, Alert is still that smaller band from Western Mass shredding the state. But I was wrong. I saw a FEW Alert tees at the gig, and of course, Dave was selling a great one from the SFU Megastore. I was stoked. Love seeing Alert get the attention they deserve. Grab this tee from live_hard then hit up SFU for another design. Don’t sleep.

I love Alert. Not only is their music excellent, but they know how to have fun. They aren’t that stick in the mud band. Every time I see these dudes, positivity flows as freely as cover songs. I can’t complain. It doesn’t hurt that every dude in this band is down for the core, down for good times, down with the PMA. Great band, great dudes. These shirts are actually one of the first (if not the first) Alert tshirt. They were designed by another one of TTD’s friends, Jay Jacoby. Good eye for design on these. You get that Side By Side vibe for 2010 (or was it 2009?). Make sure to check out the other auctions from speak_out as he has a few more gems.

ALERT 3 sided shirt

Now I like mikexpuffer as much as the next guy, but I am a little upset that he didn’t make me an XL 3 or 4 sided version of this jam. I saw Murphy wearing one of these (2 sided sucka) yesterday, and it made me jealous. He was also wearing sweatpants though, so I wasn’t that torn up about it.

If you know Mike, you already know he’s in the process of adopting a child and needs the extra cash, so please bid hard for a good cause!

Blacklisted – Phillies 2008 World Champions Tee

Not sure how accurate this auction is.

The kid claims he bought it at This Is Hardcore Fest in 2008. But This Is Hardcore fest occurred in the summer, where fall ball obviously occurs in the fall. So either the kid is wrong, or Blacklisted can predict the future.

I’m inclined to think Blacklisted can predict the future.
