25 Ta Life had its time and place but unfortunately that time is not right now. In the early mid 90s they were the shit though. It seemed almost like they were the house band at the Tune Inn. They seemed to play every weekend and it was always a blast. Moshing, Diving, Piling On. Then they started to play “keepin it real” two to three times per set. After that it was all down hill. I havent heard the first 7″ in at least 20 years. Maybe Ill be into it? Im gonna go DL it right now. If youre into BBall jersey and re-living the mid 90s then xtheirongiantx is your go to guy!

For a minute there, I thought seller jasta315 had made a liar out of me and my earlier declaration that Vision was the only band I had ever seen do an all white basketball jersey…

…but upon closer inspection, this 25 Ta Life jersey not only predates the Vision vest by a year, but it actually has blue and yellow piping. Which disqualifies it as being all white (black doesn’t count, you shush).

thecaptainsvintage is throwing up a 90s staple on ebay. There was a time in the 90s where 25 ta life was pretty much the house band at the Tune Inn in new haven CT. It seemed like they played their every other weekend. It was always a good time until they started ruining it for themselves. I think that the turning point was when they started playing “keepin it real” multiple times per set. After that they prety much became a parody of themselves.
Anyone have any Rick TaLife news??

reclusevintage may well be an actual recluse if he thinks hes gonna get that BIN price. For a 25 ta Life item its really not that bad. Weve seen much worse. The style def fits into the 90s NYHC body of work. I really hope this sells for that amount cause I might actually have one in storage.

into*my*hypercube knows how to start off an auction. There is no real reason for posting this is up except for the fact that this might be the most bootleg looking 25 ta Life shirt there is. I mean the graphic is whatever, its typical “graphic t” fare and I wouldnt be surprised if I saw the same thing printed on a black shirt for some shitty metal band that says they are HC. I also like the tag line. It looks like an angst ridden teens google search keywords. What makes this so special is that its a not only a budget 25 ta life shirt but a budget 25 ta life Heat Transfer shirt. The worst form of shirt making there is.

On a side note. Does anyone know what Rick is up to these days? Did anyone order one of his dreads and actually receive it. If they did receive it was it real rick hair or imitation?!?
